Sacred Body Oracle: Origins

READING: Liquid golden light moves gracefully between head and tail as your spinal column vibrates from your pelvis upward, resetting your foundation for health and well-being.

This is chi. It is also cerebral spinal fluid that nourishes your spinal cord, circulating through your brain, veins, arteries and nerve roots. Each plexus of circulation and communication is also a chakra energy point.

PRACTICE: Sit upright on the floor in a cross-legged posture; or in a chair with your feet on the ground; your hands are palms up on your knees or thighs. Straighten your spine as though you are reaching upward through the top of your head to the North Star, and downward through your tailbone into the center of the earth.

Close your eyes and feel the connection between your tailbone and the top of your head. Breathe up and down your spinal column between your head and tail. Inhale upward, exhale downward, just breathing for a few minutes.

With a straight spine, lean forward and back a few times, gently loosening your hip joints. Keep your spine straight. Now circle around in each direction; continue moving from the hip joints. Repeat 3-5 times on each side.

Begin to gently wiggle your bottom, sending a wave-like vibration up your spine. Vibrate like this for a few minutes. Notice how you feel in your body. 

Do you feel the energy emanating through your centerline and throughout your body? Can you feel the freedom?
